Traveling with the Silverfox

I usually get an aisle seat on the plane.  Only because I drink a lot of water, and well, you know. But this time I got a window seat.  I forgot how much I enjoy that as well.  Flying over the various places, seeing the land that looks like a quilt of the countryside.  I look down at the little houses from above and wonder what is going on inside.  Are they busy, are they happy, sad.  And then I see cars going down the streets.  Where are they going?

Frankfurt is a very festive place.  Of course I went into the first Christmas store I found.  Mr. Nutcracker is being shipped home.  He is holding a cuckoo clock, so, I named him Jack. I also went into the Catholic Church to light some candles and pray.  It was old and smelled with the familiarity of incense.  The bells chime every 15 minutes. What a beautiful sound they made, especially at sunset.

So, now we are off to Heidleberg.  Road trip!!  And meeting up with Bob and Sandra and Gary and Cheryl.

The adventures continue.
